How to Adjust a Watch Band: a blog about how to adjust watch bands that are way to loose or tight.

Adjusting the watch band of women analog quartz watches is very easy. 
Make sure that you have a small screwdriver, such as a jeweler's screwdriver or a flathead screwdriver. You will also need a pair of pliers or a wrench to loosen the screws on your watch band, and a new band or link that matches your current one.
If you have a watch with links that are held together by pins, you may need to replace those as well. If you are replacing just one link, remove it and replace it with the new one by following these steps: 1) Use your jeweler's screwdriver to remove the small screw holding the link in place. 2) Pull out all of the pins from both ends of the old link and set them aside for now (or keep them if they match ones from another part of your watch).
3) Slide on your new link by lining up its holes with those on your watch case, then use your pliers or wrench to tighten down its screws until they are snug against each other without being too tight (you want them secure but still able to rotate freely).
